Project Overview:

The project included urbanization of an inadequate rural section roadway, from West Prospect Avenue to West Spencer Street in Grand Chute, that was in very poor condition. The 11-foot wide lanes with no shoulders made pedestrian and bicycle travel dangerous.

A new storm sewer and stormwater management system including two retention ponds and four biofilters was constructed as part of the project. McMahon was instrumental in obtaining DNR grants for the ponds and biofilters and coordinated property acquisition for the ponds.

The new street includes 34-foot wide pavement along with a bicycle/pedestrian trail on the east side and sidewalk on about half of the west side.
