McMAHON was recognized for its role in providing engineering services for a new 11.75 million gallon Central Water Storage Facility in the Town of Ledgeview.  The Central Brown County Water Authority (CBCWA) owns the facility, which provides backup storage to the member communities of City of DePere, Villages of Allouez, Bellevue and Howard, and Towns of Lawrence and Ledgeview.  There are two prestressed concrete tanks – with 8.0 and 3.75 million gallon capacities, respectively.  At 80-foot diameter and 100-feet tall, the 3.75 million gallon storage tank is the tallest prestressed concrete tank in the United States.  The project received the 2015 Concrete Design Award from the Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association (WRMCA) in the Municipal Facility Category.  Carew Concrete was the ready mix concrete supplier and DN Tanks was the contractor for the project.
