Project Overview:
After outgrowing their existing Services, Volunteer and Administrative Offices, the area Girl Scouts organization sought to design new facilities to meet the combined requirements of these three separate operations. There was an additional need to have camp access to this new facility.
The Bubolz Nature Preserve, located in the Town of Grand Chute, offered a ideal site that was made available for the facility. The building is designed to not only meet the functional needs, but to be environmentally sensitive and aesthetically responsive to the surrounding prairie setting. With access to several miles of hiking trails which are groomed in the winter for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, this is the perfect choice for group outings. The facility provides a strong support element for a positive Girl Scout image to the community.
