McMAHON has announced that Daniel J. Brellen, PE, LEED AP, Marley A. Gast, AIA, NCARB, and Sam J. Tijan have been named Associates to the firm.
Brellen is a Project Engineer in the Structures & Building Systems group, with 12 years of structural design experience. He is proficient in the design of a wide range of structural materials and systems, including cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, wood, masonry, foundations, and lateral analysis (wind and seismic loading). He has structural engineering experience in the design of commercial, industrial, educational, medical, water/wastewater treatment, and agricultural facilities, as well as bridge and roadway projects. Brellen has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and LEED-AP Certified.
Gast is an Architect with 18 years of experience in programming, design and project management, with specialized competence in the design of educational and healthcare facilities. Marley has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She holds registrations as a professional Architect in Wisconsin, and with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Tijan is a Project Manager, Architectural Designer, and director of Building Information Modeling (BIM) services at McMAHON. Sam has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Lawrence University and an A.A.S. Information Systems/Web Programming Degree from Rasmussen College. He has 22 years of CAD and Design Software Experience, along with specialized competence in Integrated Project Delivery and BIM design processes. Sam has also been integral in establishing McMAHON’s Geospatial Solutions Team.
