McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering and architectural firm headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin, is helping a local community track its visit from Santa.
Using Geographical Information System (GIS) technology, McMahon, partnered with the Village of Combined Locks to develop an app to help those in the Village know exactly when to expect Santa on their street during his firetruck tour on Wednesday, December 7th from 5-7 p.m.
The app pinpoints Santa’s location in real time and displays it on a map for residents so they can follow his progress. The GIS application includes data layers of addresses, streets and points of interest, creating a precise itinerary for Santa’s visit.
