McMahon highlights current projects underway in local communities

NEENAH, Wis. (Feb. 6, 2023) – McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering and architectural firm is pleased to announce its continued services to grow and shape communities throughout the Fox Cities and beyond.

As 2023 begins, project highlights include:

McMahon announces its role in the design of the new Little Chute, Wisconsin Excellerate building. McMahon provided the architectural, structural and civil/site design for the 385,000-square-foot sustainable, smart manufacturing facility. Excellerate is a division of Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), an industry-leading innovator of manufactured electrical components and assemblies.

McMahon recently worked with the City of Kaukauna to develop solutions for providing a boat dock and fishing area along the Fox River at Wisconsin Avenue that would allow access to the City’s trail system. McMahon provided renderings for a seawall, fishing deck and ADA accessible access ramp. The project is anticipated to move forward in 2023 for bidding and construction.

McMahon is providing architectural and engineering services for the Appleton Area School District following a successful referendum for improvement projects at Madison and Einstein middle schools.

McMahon is working with the Hilbert School District by providing architectural and engineering services for building additions and renovations after a successful referendum vote this fall. This is the third referendum McMahon has assisted the Hilbert School District with in the past 12 years.

McMahon continues its work with Gulfstream on a new paint hangar at Appleton International Airport. McMahon is providing architectural and engineering services for the project, which Gulfstream Aersopace Corp announced as an investment of $55 million, that will create 200 new positions at the Appleton facility to meet customer demand and continue to grow its fleet. Operations are anticipated to begin here in the third quarter of 2023.

McMahon recently completed work on the 137,000 square-foot Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic in Green Bay. The McMahon team designed the structural, electrical and plumbing for this building and also helped with the architectural design.
