NEENAH, Wis. (Jan. 6, 2025) — McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering, architectural and consulting firm, is proud to welcome Mark Rohloff to the role of Public Safety and Municipal Management division manager beginning in January. Rohloff, well known for his roles leading local municipalities, will work alongside Jeff Roemer in leading the division, focused on enhancing public safety and government needs by collaborating with McMahon’s engineering and architectural teams to improve community services and facility safety.

Rohloff joins McMahon upon his retirement as the city manager of Oshkosh after more than 16 years. He is best known for responsive, effective and efficient delivery of services and a “can do” attitude.

“Our division provides a wide range of services, from public safety and emergency management to municipal staffing recruitment assistance and organizational analysis— all aimed at strengthening and supporting local communities,” said Jeff Roemer, McMahon Public Safety and Municipal Management division manager. “Mark’s leadership and expertise will help us continue to deliver innovative solutions that not only meet the unique needs of our clients but also help communities thrive.”

“We knew Mark would be a great fit at McMahon because like so many in our Public Safety and Municipal Management division, he brings years of experience and knowledge to a role and a sector that he is still so passionate about,” said Paul Benedict, McMahon president.

Prior to his role with the City of Oshkosh, Rohloff served as town administrator of Grand Chute, city administrator of City of Berlin, assistant city manager of City of Rancho Palos Verdes, California and a senior budget analyst for the City of Long Beach, California. His resume totals more than 40 years of professional experience in local government in major areas of municipal services including finance, human resources, labor relations, economic and community development, public works and utilities.

“I am proud to be continuing my career at McMahon,” said Rohloff. “I look forward to using my years of knowledge alongside my colleagues to effect great change for our communities and provide the support they need.”
