A 200-acre, year-round trail network for recreation, training and competition for cross-country skiing, biathlon, roller-skiing, running, hiking and more is coming to Brillion. The Ariens Nordic Center is expected to open in December 2022, attracting new residents and visitors to the Brillion area.
McMahon has worked closely with Ariens and the project team to design the new Nordic Center. McMahon assisted Ariens with annexing the property into the City of Brillion, developing civil and site grading plans and securing permits for the project. McMahon will also be providing construction services for the project.
“This is a unique project that is destined to become a wonderful asset to the City of Brillion, the state of Wisconsin and the Midwest,” said McMahon project manager Phil Kleman. “Any time we can provide our services to a design that will improve the communities we serve and the surrounding economy, we are thrilled to watch it come to life.”
The project started when Ariens’ sponsorship of the United States Biathlon team in 2019 inspired CEO Dan Ariens to create a training center in the Midwest. You can learn more about the project here.
