McMahon welcomes new employees at its Wisconsin office

NEENAH, Wis. (Nov. 21, 2024) — McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering, architectural and consulting firm, announces the hiring of Harold Barker as a water resource and municipal engineer, Ricky Gifford as a senior engineering technician, Alex Gohlke as a municipal and civil engineering technician and Ray Maurer as a public management specialist.
 
Barker holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering and a bachelor’s in civil engineering, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Barker has professional experience in on-site municipal construction inspection and extensive knowledge in water resources.
 
Gifford is a graduate of Middle Georgia College and has worked as a land surveyor in Georgia. With more than 30 years of experience, Gifford brings expertise in drafting and designing using Autodesk Land Development Desktop (LDD) and Civil 3D products to McMahon.
 
Gohlke recently earned an associate degree in architectural technology from Moraine Park Technical College. Prior to accepting his role as a municipal and civil engineering technician with McMahon, Gohlke worked in road construction and the trucking industry.
 
Maurer is joining McMahon as a public management specialist with almost 30 years of experience serving municipal governments in the parks and recreation field. A graduate from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Maurer brings expertise in park master plan development, comprehensive outdoor recreation plan development, capital improvement planning, operating budget development, strategic planning and grant writing.
