McMahon, a full-service professional engineering, architectural and consulting firm, proudly shares its designation as the official architectural and engineering group of Road America. Since 1999, McMahon has enhanced the experience at Road America, an iconic motorsports destination in Elkhart Lake, Wis., drawing nearly 800,000 race fans annually through improvements for drivers, fans and staff alike.

Nearly every division of McMahon has contributed to work at Road America over the years, leading major projects such as the installation of the 168-foot tunnel beneath the track, the addition of the Briggs and Stratton Motorplex Building, upgrades to bridges over the four-mile road course, the renovation of the race control center and the creation of new pedestrian trails. Additional projects include a customized web application, new concession stands, restroom upgrades and the design of the go-kart track.

“We strive to be the best racetrack in North America and McMahon’s been with us every step of the way. We’ve completed many projects over the years and having the vision of McMahon has been instrumental in creating new access and excitement for our fans,” said Mike Kertscher, president of Road America. “We’re pleased to name McMahon as the official architectural and engineering group of Road America.”

Road America remains an iconic tourism destination for race fans and continues to create memories for generations,” said Paul Benedict, president of McMahon. “We are proud to provide services that support the race experience at Road America.”

As the official architectural and engineering group, McMahon will continue to collaborate with RoadAmerica on future projects that enhance the campus, improve safety and elevate the fan experience on race day.
