Integrated Public Resources, LLC (IPR) recently hired RICK HERMUS and RUSS VAN GOMPEL to head up its Municipal Administrator Services group. Hermus and Van Gompel bring with them over 60-years of combined local government experience.
Hermus was previously the Village Administrator in Kimberly. He served on the Wisconsin City Managers Association (WCMA) Board of Directors for 7-years, including one year as President. Rick was also on the Board of Directors of the Cities & Villages Mutual Insurance Company (CVMIC) and was appointed by Governor Scott Walker in 2013 to the State of Wisconsin Mining Investment & Local Impact Fund Board. Since retiring as Kimberly’s Village Administrator, he has been a local government consultant to numerous communities, including serving as interim Administrator for the Village of Little Chute.
Van Gompel previously served as the City Manager for the City of Eau Claire. Prior to that, he was Village Manager at Brown Deer and Village Administrator in Little Chute. Russ is a Credentialed Manager with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA-CM) and an active member of the WCMA. He served on the Board of Directors for WCMA and was elected President in 1997-1998. Russ was also on the Board of Directors of the Cities & Villages Mutual Insurance Company (CVMIC) and was elected President of the Board from 2010-2012. In 2015, he received the Meritorious Service Award from the Wisconsin City/County Management Association.
