We are proud to announce the funding of more than $1 million dollars from the Illinois Housing Development Authority’s (IHDA) Single Family Rehabilitation Program for our clients; the City of Loves Park ($269,770), City of South Beloit ($335,065), and the Village of Machesney Park ($428,132).  Funded through the Illinois Affordable Housing Trust Fund, the Single Family Rehabilitation Program provides grants to units of local government to help low-income homeowners afford costly repairs and expenses.

McMAHON has written for and administered nearly $6 million in IHDA program funding over the years.  Through IHDA funded housing rehabilitation grants, McMAHON has helped facilitate 125 families bring their homes up to code.   Nearly 40 families were able to make energy improvements to their homes through their Retrofit programming.

McMAHON has successfully written and been awarded nearly $30 million in grant funding from Federal, State, and various Foundations for their clients.  McMAHON believes in building strong relationships with their clients as well as with funders to determine the right fit for grants and projects.  These strong relationships improve the probability of funding and generate successful projects for our clients and the funding agencies.
