The School District of Hilbert recently celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil its latest school upgrades, completed in partnership with McMahon. McMahon provided project management along with architectural, civil, structural, plumbing and electrical design for the renovation and expansion.
This project brought significant enhancements to the district’s technical education by introducing new facilities, including an auto shop and upgraded metal and wood shops. These additions provide students with invaluable hands-on experience, preparing them for careers in trades and technical fields.
Complementing these technical advancements, the project also added new band and choir spaces, complete with private music practice rooms, to support and nurture performing arts education.
The expansion of the school’s athletic facilities includes new locker rooms, a training room and a fitness room, which are accessible to both students and the wider community.
This project is the latest achievement in a longstanding, service-driven partnership between McMahon and the School District of Hilbert. Their collaboration began in 2010 with science classroom additions and renovations, followed by the 2016 new elementary school, office and gymnasium additions. This relationship goes beyond just construction projects; it’s a testament to a shared vision for improvements that support educational and community growth for years to come.
