Project Overview:

Nicolet National Bank opened in November of 2000 as Green Bay’s newest community bank, and has since expanded to serve communities within northeastern Wisconsin and foster their growth from over 40 locations.  McMAHON was originally asked to design the remodel of Baylake Bank on South Nicolet Street in Grand Chute. During the course of the project, Baylake Bank was acquired by Nicolet Bank, so the branch reopened under the Nicolet banner, serving both Baylake and Nicolet customers.

Phase I of the design utilized an interior vaulted ceiling which was repurposed as a feature that the lobby encircles.  The front walls of every office were replaced with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors. This visually connects any user of the building to almost any other point in the building. Natural stone accent walls, the floor tile, and even the furniture continue the circular theme of the design. The front porch of the bank was remodeled to soar up 2 stories, and announces the interior changes to the community.

Phase II of the design extends the same interior finishes into a wealth management suite with its own entrance.
