GIS APPLICATION SUPPORT
McMahon provides GIS support to the Town of Lawrence, providing web maps, applications, and workflows, to increase efficiency when it comes to managing data. The town migrated their GIS to the ESRI ArcGIS On-Line platform (AGOL) to expand the capabilities of their GIS system. At that time McMahon worked with the town to organize existing data and set up administrative items on the AGOL platform including operational groups and named users.
Since then, McMahon has created various web services, maps, and applications per the needs of the Town of Lawrence staff. Examples of such solutions include applications to visualize and track hydrant and valve maintenance from the field, and a public-facing zoning application that provides an easy-to-use, interactive mapping interface to determine the zoning of parcels. McMahon continues to evaluate common workflows and implement GIS solutions for various office and field staff.
